2023 PADDLE & PEDAL - June 24th

 On June24th -

 *Between 7:15 and 8:30 am, drop off your bicycle at CCC boat landing on the Wolf River 6 miles south of Shawano and a canoe or kayak at Great Wolf Tubing Co., LLC located 7 blocks West of Main Street on Lieg Ave. across from the boat landing (Judd Park) in Shawano. (There will be someone to watch your equipment on location.) You will be given a claim check for for bicycles.

* If renting equipment from Great Wolf Tubing Company, it will be on site for you at Great Wolf Tubing Company.  (Recommend reserving rental equipment by Fri. the 17th of June.)  Call for Reservations!! 715 524-TUBE (8823)

 * Park and register/sign liability waiver at Great Wolf Tubing Company at 1013 S Water Street in Shawano by 8:45am.  Park at Judd Park if bringing your own equipment.  Restroom available there.  

 * Launch by 9:15,  Paddle down Wolf River, all flat water, through natural areas, to CCC - about 3 hours (depending on river and wind conditions).  Remember to bring sunscreen, PDF (will be provided if renting boats from Great Wolf Tubing Co.), water and snack/lunch with you.  Water and light snack (bananas and granola bars) available at CCC landing.  

  *Ride your bike back 8, 14, or 22 miles back to Great Wolf Tubing Company.  Maps for the routes will be available.                         

*  Your boat will be shuttled from CCC back to Shawano by Great Wolf Tubing Company and will be here waiting for you!   * Come back to Great Wolf Tubing Company and enjoy a brat or hamburger and refreshments.  It's also a great place for you to tell a story and let your fellow participants know a little more about your trip.

*Event cost is $25 (or $20 for members of Shawano Pathways or if renting equipment from Great Wolf Tubing Co., LLC.)  The registration fee covers the cost of shuttling boats back to Shawano, water, snacks and a porta potty.  Any extra goes to help Shawano Pathways support new and improved biking and walking trails.
